I'm a creative technologist, builder, and engineering leader with more than 30 years of experience working across startups, agencies, enterprise platforms, and founder-led ventures.
My focus has always been the same: translating ideas into systems that people actually use.
I started my career during the early growth of the commercial internet, building enterprise systems and digital media platforms as the web reshaped entire industries. Over the years, I've designed and delivered e-commerce ecosystems, architected large-scale web platforms, and led teams responsible for systems generating hundreds of millions in revenue.
Along the way, I've founded companies, worked inside creative agencies and public enterprises, and operated at the intersection of technology, product, and human experience — from digital music infrastructure in the early 2000s to modern cloud-based commerce systems serving millions of users.
Today, I serve as VP of Engineering and Co-Founder at Route36, leading engineering teams on large-scale initiatives, including work with Meta.
After years focused primarily on leadership, I'm returning to hands-on building in an era defined by artificial intelligence. Work History
Co-founded Route36 to build and lead high-performing engineering teams delivering large-scale software initiatives. Our work includes major projects with Meta, where I focus on team architecture, execution strategy, and evolving development practices in an AI-driven environment.
Led development and QA teams supporting a multi-resort e-commerce ecosystem generating over $1B in annual revenue. I focused on platform modernization and high-traffic resilience, ensuring the system held steady through peak sales events and high-demand launches.
Founded and led a web and mobile development agency delivering digital products for brands including Vail Resorts, MetLife, Arby's, and GE Ventures. Built and directed contractor teams, guiding projects from concept through launch across consumer, commerce, and experiential platforms.
Co-founded and architected a consumer web platform centered on social betting across everyday events. Led technical direction and managed distributed development resources for an early-stage venture backed by a California-based VC firm.
Provided technical leadership for award-winning digital campaigns and major brand platforms, including Burger King and Microsoft's "I'm a PC" initiative. Acted as a bridge between creative and engineering teams, translating ambitious ideas into high-visibility interactive experiences.
Led development of client web platforms and architected a custom CMS that enabled non-technical teams to manage content independently. Projects included CMS-driven sites for Steamboat and Midas. The company was later acquired by Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
Developed enterprise .NET systems supporting internal operations and agency workflows for MetLife's Annuity department, contributing to large-scale back-office and distribution platforms.
Directed development of economic development and public-facing digital platforms, leading architecture and delivery across multiple client initiatives.
Founded and led a digital music distribution company spanning e-commerce, streaming, and fulfillment. Designed and built the infrastructure and application stack supporting early digital media delivery, including same-day live concert recordings. Worked directly with artists, record labels, and major festivals such as the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and The Dead.
Led the internet operations group behind ContentKey™, a DRM platform integrated with proprietary hardware and software ecosystems. Contributed to intellectual property development and coordinated cross-disciplinary engineering efforts spanning firmware, application, and online infrastructure.
Delivered rapid application development and enterprise system projects across multiple industries, advancing from developer to technical lead and architect. Supported both client delivery and pre-sales engineering during the early growth of internet-era enterprise software.
